Mikhail
Goman graduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and
Technology, the Faculty of Aeromechanics and Flight Technology and joined the
Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI), Russia in
1972 (www.tsagi.ru). PhD in 1978 from
Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI), Russia.
Career History:
Joined TsAGI, Russia
in 1972. Being with TsAGI during
1972-2002 has been involved in a number of national aeronautical projects. He has
contributed into computational methods for nonlinear flight dynamics and
phenomenological modelling of unsteady aerodynamics at high incidence flight, awarded
Zhukovsky Gold medal (aeronautical award established in Russia in
1922).
1997-2000 DERA, UK Research Fellowship at DMU,
Leicester.
Since 2000 Professor at the Faculty of Technology, Department of Engineering.
