The School of Computing Sciences has many
meetings and events which affect staff. It is often
difficult to find out what meetings are booked
when one is planning a new meeting, so that one
can avoid clashes. The project is to build a
web-based diary system using html, cgi
programming, a database, and possibly Java, which
staff can access from workstations and from PCs
telneting to a machine running Lynx (a text-only
