Welcome to my web site
I am a Professor of Critical Research in Technology in the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility, which is one of the research groups of the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Technology. I am also a De Montfort University Teacher Fellow. My responsibilities include serving as Chair of the Faculty Human Research Ethics Committee and Coordinator of the Information Society Doctoral Programme.
The most important (and time consuming) activity I am currently involved in is coordinating a European research project on "Ethical Issues of Emerging ICT Applications" (ETICA), which runs from April 2009 to May 2011.
