Bernd Carsten Stahl
I am Professor of Critical Research in Technology and Director of the Centre for Computing and
Social Responsibility, which is one of the research groups of the School of Computer Science and
Informatics of the Faculty of Technology at De Montfort University. I am also a De Montfort University
Teacher Fellow and serve as Chair of the Faculty Human Research Ethics Committee.
I am visiting professor at the University of Twente’s Department of Philosophy.

From 2009 to 2011 I was coordinator of the EU FP7 research project "Ethical Issues of Emerging ICT
